very nice unrestored 100% original California license plate pair. 1938.  14x6 inches; originally black legend on yellow background.  almost
completely straight and flat, with solid metal.  one torn mounting hole, a few wrinkles and tack holes, but nothing substantial.  bare metal - ready for you to finish.
DMV clear as of 10/30/2022; may be registered to your 1938 vehicle (though will have to be restored first). perfect for your Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, or DeLorean.
