—The cDAQ‑9184 is a CompactDAQ Ethernet chassisdesigned for small, remote, or distributed sensor measurement systems. Thechassis controls the timing, synchronization, and data transfer between CSeries I/O modules and an external host. You can use a combination of modulesto create a mix of analog I/O, digital I/O, and counter/timer measurements. Thechassis also has four 32‑bit general‑purpose counters/timers built in. You canaccess these counters through an installed, hardware‑timed digital C Series modulefor applications that involve quadrature encoders, PWM, event counting, pulsetrain generation, and period or frequency measurement. With multiple timingengines, you can run seven hardware‑timed operations simultaneously, with threeindependent rates for analog input.
This unit was pulledfrom an alpha prototype that was used briefly and placed into secure storage.It was confirmed working when stored.
