Here is a rare, solid sterling silver
miniature
version of the British Royal Family's
ROYAL STATE COACH
produced in 1977 in celebration of the
25th ANNIVERSARY SILVER JUBILEE
of the accession to the throne of
QUEEN ELIZABETH II
.
The State Coach, an enclosed eight-horse-drawn
carriage, was commissioned by the British Royal
Family in 1760 by King George III.
It has been used at the coronations of every
British monarch since King George IV
and also used for grand state occasions
such as coronations, royal weddings,
and jubilees of the monarch.
Encased in its original gift box with purple silk
upon which is printed the Royal Arms Insignia
and the Royal Warrant
