Description
England is declaring this the "Summer of Diana" with commemorations and a new statue at Kensington Palace marking what would have been her 60th birthday. Charity was always a passion of Diana, and this "Dresses for Humanity" Princess Diana exhibit poster from the American Textile History Museum in Lowell, Mass. is a beautiful reminder of her work for the less fortunate. From Nov. 1 1998 to Jan. 17 1999, the "Dresses for Humanity, an Exhibition of the Dresses of The Princess of Wales" exhibit kicked off the grand opening of the new changing exhibition gallery at the American Textile History Museum in Lowell, Mass. This beautifully framed poster is a wonderful addition to any collector's treasures. The exhibition featured 20 designer dresses worn by the princess and was part of an international tour to raise money for her charities. The exhibit, which began its tour in June 1998 at the Ronald Reagan Center in Washington, included photographs of her wearing the dresses.
