Cortland, N.Y. — Copenhagen girls soccer had a solid amount of momentum going into the Class D state championship game.
The Golden Knights, a three-time state championship-winning program, were coming off a state semifinal contest that ended with late-game heroics. The title game, however, quickly saw Copenhagen come back down to earth.
